FAQ

What is VR?
Virtual Reality (VR) is the use of computer technology to create a simulated environment. Unlike traditional user interfaces, VR places the user inside an experience. Instead of viewing a screen in front of them, users are immersed and able to interact with 3D worlds.
What are the age limits?
We believe that VR is something that does not have age limits. We are able to find an experience suitable for almost any age. However, due to the size of the headset we do not usually recommend the experience for the customers younger than 7 years.
We do make exceptions about younger customers, however they should be accompanied by a parent/guardian throughout their booking. Please note, certain games have their own age recommendations. To find out more please visit our games page.
What if I experience motion sickness or any other side effect while using the system?
We are doing our best to provide experiences that are associated with lower probability of motion sickness. It has been argued that the highest level of motion sickness in VR is associated with VR Roller-coasters and similar experiences. We test all the games ourselves before offering them at MadeitVR. We also setup and test all our equipment so it works without causing any motion sickness.
However, as with any motion-related entertainment, some people may be susceptible to unexpected side-effects during the VR session. If you feel unwell at any point please let a member of MadeitVR team know and we will be there to help you.
I wear prescription glasses. Can I enjoy the experience without taking them off?
The Oculus Quests fit most regular sized glasses. It is also adjustable, so you can adjust the lens distance and focus on making your virtual reality experience one of a kind.
Other customers are using your headsets. Is my headset going to be clean?
We take hygiene seriously. After every virtual reality session, we clean the equipment with anti-bacterial non-alcoholic wipes and clean the face cushions in a UV-C cabinet to ensure maximum cleanliness.
Are there any physical limitations that would prevent me from enjoying the experience?
The optimal VR experience requires users to move their head and neck, and have use of at least one hand to interact with the environment.
